Growing up, I saw that Mama had a passion for cooking and entertaining. I watched and learned how to cook from her. My passion for cooking and entertaining started as a little girl as I watched her face light up to serve others dishes that went far beyond just satisfying palettes. I saw then what preparing meals mean to me now. Cooking, for me, is an expression of love. Usually being invited somewhere it is the visitors who get the prepared meals. Most times for me, I’ll cook. It’s my way of saying, ‘Thank you for the invitation. Here (this dish) is your gift’. Thank you for stopping by today.
